“Voices of Christmas: Inspiring Excellence in Choral Singing” is a first-of-its-kind music workshop aimed at elevating the performances of the Daigon Contest participants in the upcoming Paskua sa Pavia 2025 celebration by enhancing the musical knowledge of the municipality’s elementary music teachers. This initiative of the Municipal Tourism and Development Office (MTDO), headed by Mr. Dexter G. Dizon, RN, MPG, JD, was conducted on November 16, 2025.
It was a fun-filled day for everyone, one brimming with music, learning, and laughter.
The resource person was Dr. Gerardo Vicente Alojado Muyuela— a composer, pianist, arranger, and music director who earned his music degree from the University of San Agustin Conservatory of Music; his Master of Music degree, magna cum laude, from
Sta. Isabel College, Manila; and his Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance, magna cum laude, from St. Paul University Manila.
