In celebration of Family Day 2025, the Women Sector of Pavia, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), held a fun and meaningful gathering with the theme “Pamilyang Tutugon sa Pagbabago ng Panahon” on October 5, 2025 (Sunday).
A total of 20 families from different barangays participated in the celebration, with around 120 attendees taking part in the day’s various activities. The event aimed to strengthen family relationships and promote resilience among Pavianhon families amid the challenges and changes of modern times.
Several contests such as Tula para sa Bata, Family Dance, and Binalaybay ni Tatay o ni Nanay showcased the creativity, unity, and talents of the participants. The celebration also featured interactive games and a short talk delivered by SB Floyd Susarno, who served as the guest speaker, emphasizing the importance of adaptability and cooperation within the family.
To promote wellness and relaxation, the Local Government Unit of Pavia, under the leadership of Mayor Laurence Anthony “Luigi” G. Gorriceta, offered free services including manicure, pedicure, haircut, and massage to the attendees.
The activity fostered camaraderie and family spirit, serving as a reminder that strong, loving, and adaptable families remain the cornerstone of a resilient and progressive community.
