To gain insights into effective local governance and development strategies, barangay officials from Sta. Lucia, City of San Juan, Manila, led by Punong Barangay Eustadio V. Belches Jr., visited the Municipality of Pavia.
The delegation included Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Cluster Head Clarisa B. Omamos and City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) representative Ma. Aura E. Robles, who engaged in discussions on barangay administration, priority initiatives, and institutional mechanisms implemented in the municipality.
Barangay Jibao-an, headed by Punong Barangay Ana Lisa Huyong, presented its best practices and key programs, with Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Ma. Socorro Joy D. Garcia providing inputs on municipal-level governance support.
Mayor Luigi G. Gorriceta also met with the visiting officials, underscoring the importance of cooperation among local government units and the exchange of governance strategies.
