Key officials from SM Hypermarket paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Laurence Anthony “Luigi” G. Gorriceta to formally announce the upcoming opening of their new branch in Barangay Pandac on March 26, 2026.
The delegation, led by Ms. Maria Teresa Espina, AVP for Human Resources, and including Ms. Elma Kitane, AVP for Operations; Mr. Ricky Decano, Site Development Manager; Ms. Roda Ebrona, Operations Manager; and Ms. Maricar Runes, Assistant HR Manager, discussed the company’s plans to expand its presence in the municipality and contribute to local economic development.
Mayor Gorriceta welcomed the investment, noting that the new hypermarket is expected to create job opportunities for Pavianhons and strengthen cooperation between the local government and the private sector.
