The Local Government Unit of Pavia headed by Mayor Luigi Gorriceta thru the Public Employment Services Office (PESO) in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) conducted program orientation for workers-beneficiaries of the government’s flagship TUPAD Program.
Underemployed, seasonal, and displaced workers can get emergency employment through TUPAD (Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantage/Displaced Workers), a community-based package of support.
The 200 beneficiaries coming from the different barangays of the municipality were oriented on safety and health as well as received their personal protective equipment (PPE) prior to their actual engagement in employment.
