July 24, 2024 marks the one-year journey of capacitating 50 participants on organic farming as their new way of producing fresh, safe, and nutritious vegetables for their families, and the customers who buy their produce. It is a full year of exciting and memorable experiences for the participants as they culminate and celebrate their journey in the P4P Project.
The Plant for Productivity project is a joint effort of the AYALA Foundation and the Municipality of Pavia to capacitate households and farming communities. The event underscored the role of every individual in bridging the gaps and breaking barriers towards food sustainability and food security.
The Harvest Festival was highlighted by the presence of 50 participants who shared their experiences and learnings in their personal testimonies. The presence of the guests and partners from DA-Region 6, BPI-Banko, and Ayala Foundation Incorporated graced the activity. Mayor Luigi Gorriceta expressed his gratitude and full support as he gave his message during the event.
The honorable mayor distributed the awards and recognition to the participants. The 50 participants received ATM cards that will be used as their savings account, after training kits and seed funds.
