The Municipal Tourism and Development Office (MTDO) spearheaded another Learning Visit, and this time, to the culturally-rich Municipalities of TIGBAUAN, MIAG-AO AND SAN JOAQUIN!
Participants in the experiential activity were the hardworking and committed Barangay Kagawads who chair the Committee on Tourism, Arts, Culture, and History in their respective barangays. These barangay officials are our very active partners in all municipal tourism-related activities.
The visit was aimed to capacitate the participants by actual interaction with the people behind programs, projects and activities that are considered ‘best practices’. The experience gained is intended to stir the interest, inspire the imagination and drive the participants in replicating the practices or creating their own versions in their areas of influence.
