To emphasize the participation of the youth in advancing local initiatives for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Municipality of Pavia held the 2025 Linggo ng Kabataan celebration on August 16–17 with the theme “Local Youth Actions for SDGs and Beyond.”
The two-day event featured a Fun Run, Wet and Wild Zumba, Barkada Vlog-Making Contest, Tingog Pamatan-on (Singing Contest Season 5), Poster-Making Contest, and Sayaw ng Kabataan (Dance Sports Competition).
In the Fun Run Pro Category, Christian Dominic Hubag won first place, followed by TJ Boy Monteria and Mark Francis Hechanova. In the Non-Pro Category, Dino Jagna-an placed first and Gefson Pescasiosa second.
Furthermore, in Tingog Pamatan-on, Paul Bennydick Alog won first place, while Angel Ann J. Gamboa and Ange Niña Gorriceta placed second and third.
In the Poster-Making Contest, Cloie Mariel Hisoler secured first place, followed by Christian Jaud and Moira Acana.
Barangay Cabugao Sur topped the Barkada Vlog-Making Contest, with Barangay Purok 4 in second place and Barangay Anilao in third.
In Sayaw ng Kabataan, Margareth Wilson and Carlos Miguel Bernabe placed first, Zoe Alexandria Lanceta and Klynne Joseph Castigador placed second, and John Philip Jasa and Yza Unice Grande placed third.
Judges included Ms. Magdalena Cristilyni S. Huyong, Mr. Frank Michael G. Gamino, and Ms. Daphne G. Jontarciego for Tingog Pamatan-on; Mr. Giovanni M. Sopio, Mr. Kenedie B. Jalandoni, and Mr. Raymund J. Silla for Barkada Vlog-Making; Ms. Christina R. Sendin, Mr. Andro G. Jalbuna, and Ms. Mary Joy J. Yanson for Poster-Making; and Mr. Patrick Ivan Sa-ato, Prof. Liberty Poras, and Prof. Noel Mondejar for Sayaw ng Kabataan.
The local government also acknowledged Robinsons Mall Pavia for hosting the Tingog Pamatan-on and Poster-Making contests.
