The Sangguniang Bayan of Pavia wins 1st Runner Up for this year’s Search for the Most Outstanding Sanggunian organized by the Iloilo Provincial Government.
“This award is a concrete manifestation of the Sangguniang Bayan’s commitment to delivering quality public service to the people of Pavia,” said SB Member JP Peñol, Chairman of the SB Committee on Good Government and Rules.
The following were considered for the competition: Presence of the Legislative Agenda, Availability of Legislative Documents, Effectiveness of the Performance of the Sangguniang Bayan, Innovation and Best practices, among others.
“Because of everyone’s cooperation and hardwork, natigayon ang award nga ini. Tanan nga ini para sa mga Pavianhon,” expressed Vice Mayor Bibo Gerochi.
