The newly elected officials of the Municipality of Pavia, led by Mayor Laurence Anthony G. Gorriceta and Vice Mayor Edsel G. Gerochi, formally took their oath of office during a mass oath-taking ceremony held at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel, Iloilo City.
Joining them were members of the Sangguniang Bayan: Leonardo L. Belasa, Joshua Philippe B. Gumban, Jo Jan Paul J. Peñol, Ariel B. Gerada, Daniel S. Fajardo II, Kervin Matthew G. Zaldarriaga, Joefritz H. Collado, and Rhia B. Sotomil.
The ceremony was administered by Iloilo Governor Arthur R. Defensor, Jr., and attended by elected officials from various towns across the province.
The oath-taking marks the official start of the new administration’s term, with a renewed commitment to public service, good governance, and the continued progress of the Municipality of Pavia.
