The Municipality of Pavia’s Municipal Health Office (MHO) Primary Care Facility, under the leadership of Dr. Carleone Borda, was recognized as the 3rd Most Outstanding Local Government Unit (LGU) in Western Visayas for its exemplary Local Health Systems. The prestigious award was presented by the Department of Health Western Visayas Center for Health Development during the Western Visayas Harmonized Health Excellence Awards held at Diversion 21 Hotel Iloilo on October 3, 2025.
Pavia MHO Primary Care Facility received a Plaque of Recognition and a cash award of PhP 100,000. This accolade highlights Pavia’s significant advancements and excellence in public health service delivery, improved health outcomes, strong governance, and sustainable health programs.
Adding to its achievements, the Municipal Health Office’s Primary Care Facility status was also acknowledged, recognizing it as 1 of 27 out of 43 municipalities in the Province of Iloilo.
