The Schools District of Pavia headed by District Supervisor Dr. Melanie Villalon in cooperation with the Local Government of Pavia conducted a Rollout on the Devolution of Basic Education Towards Better Reading Outcomes attended by all Grade 3 and Local School Board Teachers.
Last July 12, 2024, Mayor Luigi Gorriceta attended a meeting, which centered on the Proof of Concept for Iloilo on the devolution of basic education. On his part, Mayor Gorriceta accepted the challenge to help in the improvement of the reading proficiency of Pavianhon learners.
Encouraging every learner to read is a challenge. However, Mayor Luigi Gorriceta believes that reading proficiency should not only be a goal but a need.
With commitment and diligence, the Local Government of Pavia hopes to become a leader in providing high-quality education.
