The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pavia, under the leadership of Mayor Laurence Anthony “Luigi” G. Gorriceta, spearheaded the blessing and turnover of newly concreted barangay roads in two sitios on September 27, 2025.
In the morning, the concreted road in Sitio Gata, Barangay Mali-ao, was officially turned over to the community during a ceremony attended by barangay officials led by Punong Barangay Herminia C. Jagolino, together with local residents.
Later in the afternoon, a similar ceremony was held for the concreted road in Sitio Baras, Barangay Purok 4, with Punong Barangay Juvy G. Jaleco, barangay officials, and residents in attendance.
Also present at both events was Vice Mayor Edsel G. Gerochi, who joined Mayor Gorriceta in extending support to the barangays.
Mayor Gorriceta emphasized that these road projects are part of the municipal government’s continuous efforts to improve infrastructure, enhance accessibility, and uplift the quality of life of Pavianhons.
