The Local Government Unit of Pavia increased its efforts to protect consumers by monitoring fuel prices at gas stations throughout the municipality on March 11, 2026. The initiative was carried out by the Price Monitoring and Coordinating Council, which was led by the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO), Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO), Market Administrator’s Office, Municipal Treasurer’s Office, Municipal Agriculture Office, and Mayor’s Office.

The activity’s goal was to verify the current fuel prices being implemented by gasoline retailers and ensure their compliance with existing pricing regulations. This initiative also aimed to protect consumers by promoting transparency and preventing potential overpricing of petroleum products in the municipality.

The Price Monitoring and Coordinating Council continues to strengthen the local government’s efforts to promote fair business practices while protecting the welfare and interests of Pavianhon residents through regular monitoring and inspections.
