The Pavia Local Government Unit (LGU), led by Mayor Luigi G. Gorriceta, held a Wellness Run/Walk for municipal employees on March 12, 2026, at 6:30 a.m., in celebration of National Women’s Month.
The activity was organized by the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) as part of the municipality’s ongoing efforts to promote health, wellness, and work-life balance among government employees, while also recognizing the important roles women play in public service and community development.
Municipal employees from various offices participated in the early morning run/walk to show solidarity and support for the causes of women’s empowerment, gender equality, and workplace wellness.
Following the run/walk, employees gathered for an energetic Zumba dance session, which further promoted camaraderie and physical fitness and provided a fun and lively way to start the day.
Through initiatives such as the Wellness Run/Walk, the Pavia LGU continues to promote a culture of health, inclusivity, and recognition of women’s valuable contributions to governance and society.
