The Local Government Unit of Pavia provided mobility aids to 20 persons with disabilities in a distribution activity led by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO).
The beneficiaries received 4 adult wheelchairs, 2 pediatric wheelchairs, 7 single canes, 2 quad canes, 3 crutches, 1 pediatric walker, and 1 commode chair. SB Member Rhia Sotomil and PWD Focal Person May Saycon attended the turnover.
The assistance forms part of the LGU’s continuing program under Mayor Luigi Gorriceta to support vulnerable sectors through the provision of essential assistive devices aimed at improving mobility and safety for PWD residents.
