The Municipality of Pavia, led by Mayor Luigi G. Gorriceta, began the Rural-Based Organizations (RBO) Week and Expo 2025 on October 28, 2025, at the Pavia Multi-Purpose Gymnasium.

The activity, organized by the Municipal Agriculture Office under Municipal Agriculturist Phil Roland Cabrera, gathered farmers, rural women, youth organizations, and agricultural stakeholders.

Hon. Joshua Phillippe B. Gumban, Chairperson of the SB Committee on Agriculture, delivered a message of support, while SB Member Daniel Fajardo II and representatives from the Provincial Agriculture Office also attended the event. After the program, officials led the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the RBO Expo 2025 Exhibit, which showcased local agricultural products, farm technologies, and agribusiness projects.

Farmers’ Day followed in the afternoon, featuring lectures by Rice Program Coordinator John J. Hondrade and 4-H Club 3rd District Representative Allan Grande, together with agricultural partners LOVEFEEDS and BAYER. The sessions discussed sustainable farming, modern technology, and agripreneurship.

The RBO Week and Expo will continue until October 30 with activities for the Rural Improvement Club (RIC) and 4-H Club, including flower arrangement contests, leadership training, and packaging workshops.

The event aimed to enhance agricultural productivity and community participation among rural-based organizations in Pavia.
