The 2025 Pavia Municipal Officials and Employees Sportsfest officially began on October 10, 2025, with a vibrant parade around the Pavia Plaza. Municipal officials and employees, divided into four teams—Yellow Bumblebees, Red Hawks, Green Warriors, and Blue Lightning—marched in unison, showcasing their team colors and creative props while chanting enthusiastic cheers.
After the parade, the Pavia Zumbanatics led an energizing Zumba session at the Pavia Multi-Purpose Gymnasium. Participants then competed in the Cheers and Yells and Cheer-Dance Competition, with the Green Warriors taking 1st Place, followed by the Red Hawks in 2nd Place, Blue Lightning in 3rd Place, and Yellow Bumblebees in 4th Place.
The opening program was attended by Mayor Luigi Gorriceta, Vice Mayor Bibo Gerochi, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, and MLGOO Ma. Soccoro Garcia.
The sportsfest, spearheaded by the Human Resource Management Office under Mrs. Lalaine Gumban, aims to promote teamwork, camaraderie, and unity among municipal employees, enhance physical well-being, skills, confidence, and social interaction, and improve the quality of public service in the municipality.
