The Municipality of Pavia officially received a new vehicle on February 10, 2025, funded by the 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF). The inauguration was held at the Pavia Municipal Hall Grounds.
The vehicle will support peace and order efforts in the town. It will be used by the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and the Pavia Philippine National Police (PNP) for law enforcement, security, and emergency response.
The event was attended by DILG Iloilo Provincial Director Engr. Carmelo F. Orbista, CESO V, Program Manager April Mae V. Plazo, Mayor Laurence Anthony G. Gorriceta, Vice Mayor Edsel G. Gerochi, Department Heads, and other LGU personnel. Also present were MLGOO Ma. Socorro Joy D. Garcia and PDMU personnel.
This project highlights Pavia’s commitment to good governance, public safety, and community service.
