To strengthen data accuracy and support gender-responsive planning, the Municipality of Pavia, through its Municipal Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System, conducted an assessment, evaluation, and maintenance activity for the GAD Database on October 23, 2025, at the Executive Hall, Mayor’s Office.
EnP. Mabel E. Paches, GAD Focal Person, led the session that centered on updating and reviewing the database to ensure that information remains current, reliable, and aligned with the municipality’s gender and development goals.
Moreover, the activity aimed to check the functionality of the GAD Database, which serves as a key reference in planning, implementing, and monitoring programs that promote gender equality and women empowerment. It also provided an avenue to evaluate existing records and incorporate necessary updates to improve data management.
In line with this, Pavia’s local government continues to advance gender mainstreaming and inclusive governance as part of its broader commitment to equitable and evidence-based development.
