The Municipality of Pavia has been recognized as the Top Rice Producing Municipality in the Province of Iloilo. The award was conferred during the Provincial Agriculture Office’s Farmers and Fisherfolk’s Week Celebration 2025 held on October 3, 2025, in Passi City, Iloilo.
Under the theme “Hamungaya nga Agricultura: Kaaraydan sang Mangingisda kag Mangunguma,” the event celebrated the contributions of farmers and fisherfolk to the province’s agricultural advancement and food security.
The Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) of LGU Pavia, under the leadership of Mr. Phil Roland A. Cabrera, was recognized for its significant contributions to rice production, support services, and farmer empowerment.
Pavia’s LGU is committed to agricultural development as a key priority, empowering local farmers and fostering economic growth in the municipality.
