The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pavia, through the Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), continues the distribution of the Arangka Social Pension Program for the first semester of 2026, benefiting 800 qualified indigent senior citizens from the municipality’s 18 barangays. The distribution was conducted on June 18, 2026, at Robinsons Pavia.
Implemented under Municipal Ordinance No. 2024-06 and supported by Mayor Luigi Gorriceta, the program provides a monthly financial assistance of ₱500 to elderly residents who are indigent, sickly, vulnerable, and currently awaiting inclusion in the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Social Pension Program.
The initiative reflects the municipality’s commitment to promoting the welfare and well-being of senior citizens by ensuring that additional support reaches those most in need within the community.
