Henry Caleb S. Biñas of Pavia Pilot Elementary School will represent Western Visayas at the National Schools Press Conference in Ormoc City, Leyte, from April 13 to 17, 2026.
Biñas won first place in Science and Technology Writing (English) at the Regional Schools Press Conference, securing his spot at the national competition.
He led a delegation of campus journalists in a courtesy visit to Mayor Luigi G. Gorriceta on March 2.
Mayor Gorriceta pledged financial support to ensure Biñas’ participation in the national event.
The visit also highlighted the accomplishments of other campus journalists and served as a show of support for Biñas as he prepares to compete at the national level.
