The Iloilo Provincial Treasurer’s Office honored the top-performing municipalities in local revenue generation for Calendar Year 2024 during the awarding ceremony held on November 14, 2025 at Zuri Hotel and Suites, Iloilo City.
Among the recognized municipalities was the Municipality of Pavia, whose achievements were made possible through the dedication and commitment of the Municipal Treasury Office of Pavia, headed by Ms. Caroline Teruel, under the administration of Mayor Luigi G. Gorriceta. Their outstanding performance reflects the LGU’s strong fiscal management and dedication to efficient and responsive treasury services.
Pavia earned the following awards:
• Rank 1 – Collection of Professional Tax
• Rank 2 – Real Property Tax Collection Efficiency (Category A)
• Rank 4 – Best Performing Municipalities in Real Property Tax Collection Compliance and Strategies
• Rank 4 – Collection of Annual Fixed Tax for Delivery Trucks and Vans
• Rank 5 – Fiscal Administration
• Rank 4 – Best Performing Real Property Tax Focal Persons (Mr. Luisito G. Selorio)
The municipality’s consistent performance underscores its continuous efforts to strengthen local revenue generation, enhance service delivery, and support sustainable development initiatives in Pavia and the entire Province of Iloilo.
