Barangays Pagsanga-an and Ungka II of Pavia were recognized as 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangay (SGLGB) passers during the 2025 Iloilo Provincial Liga Day and Awarding Ceremony on August 24, 2025, at the Iloilo Sports Complex.
The event was spearheaded by Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) Iloilo President Hon. Amalia Victoria F. Debuque and attended by Iloilo Governor Arthur R. Defensor Jr., Vice Governor Nathalie Ann F. Debuque, and other provincial and local officials.
The recognition highlighted the commitment of barangays in Iloilo to uphold good governance and community development.
Mayor Laurence Anthony “Luigi” Gorriceta, in behalf of the municipal government of Pavia, congratulated the two barangays for their achievement.
