A warm spirit of unity and gratitude filled the Pavia Multi-Purpose Gymnasium on Monday as Mayor Luigi Gorriceta celebrated his 41st birthday with the people he has long served with compassion and dedication.
The day opened with a Thanksgiving Mass attended by Mr. Larry H. Gorriceta, Mrs. Agnes G. Gorriceta, local officials, local government employees, and punong barangays. The solemn gathering offered prayers of thanks for the mayor’s life, leadership, and continued guidance of the town.
The celebration, aptly themed “ArangKABALAKA”, underscored Mayor Luigi’s enduring commitment to the well-being of every Pavianhon. The theme, a play on the local phrase for concern and care, captured the heart of the event—placing community at its center.
Following the Mass, a short but poignant program unfolded with messages, tributes, and simple offerings from various sectors. Each one reflected the public’s appreciation for the mayor’s hands-on approach to governance and his genuine regard for ordinary citizens.
