The Province of Iloilo, through the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Center in partnership with PCCI–Iloilo, organized the Public and Private Sector Investment and Competitiveness Conference on November 17, 2025 at Hotel Del Rio in Iloilo City.
The event focused on strengthening collaboration between local leaders and the business sector under the theme “Bridging Local Leadership and Private Sector Confidence.”
The conference presented strategies to boost local competitiveness by advancing transparent and investor-centered governance.
Local chief executives, government officials, and private sector representatives gathered to share best practices and address investment-related concerns.
Furthermore, participants explored opportunities to enhance cooperation between public and private sectors.
A key segment of the program was the panel discussion on “Building Investor Confidence through Effective Local Facilitation,” where Pavia Mayor Luigi G. Gorriceta served as one of the panelists.
His participation signaled the municipality’s continuing efforts to support an investor-ready environment and promote local economic development.
