To enhance its occupational safety and health systems and practices, the Local Government Unit of Pavia held a Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training for designated safety officers of each Department/Office.
The four-day course is aimed to equip the twenty-nine safety officers with essential skills and knowledge to conduct occupational safety and health risk assessment and the provision of its appropriate control interventions. Participants also engaged in simulated risk assessment, practical exams and discussions on occupational safety and health standards.
