To improve the quality of life of bedridden senior citizens, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pavia distributed 18 home care beds to beneficiaries from 18 barangays.
Mayor Luigi G. Gorriceta personally led the distribution, visiting each recipient and delivering the beds along with care packages.
The initiative was carried out in partnership with the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA), headed by Ms. Judy Hollero, and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO). Both offices coordinated to identify and reach the elderly residents most in need of assistance.
The LGU said the project underscores its commitment to provide continued support and dignity to senior citizens in the municipality.
