1. PAVIA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
Adjudged as Most Outstanding Secondary School in the Division of Iloilo (Large Schools)
2. PAVIA PILOT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Awarded as Most Outstanding Elementary School in the Division of Iloilo (Central Schools)
3. MRS. JANE A. JACINTOS
Qualifier, Outstanding Master Teacher in the Division of Iloilo (Elementary)
4. ENGR. JOLEPE O. SUERTE AND THE MUNICIPAL ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES OFFICE PERSONNEL
– The Municipality of Pavia was recognized with “IDEAL PERFORMANCE” in the implementation of Ecological and Sustainable Solid Waste Management System Year 7 in compliance to Republic Act 9003, otherwise known as the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000.
The award was given during Gawad KKK (Kalinisan, Kalusugan at Kasagana-an) at Grand Social Hall, Casa Real, Old Provincial Capitol, Iloilo City.
5. DR. CARLEONE BORDA AND THE MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE PERSONNEL
– The Local Government of Pavia through the Municipal Health Office spearheaded by Dr. Carleone Borda was adjudged as Top Performing Municipality in the Inaugural HEAL (Health Excellence And Leadership) Awards Ceremony during the Iloilo Provincial Health Summit 2023.
Awards received were the following: 2nd Place for Integrated Helminthiasis Control Program; 2nd Place for Disaster Risk Reduction Management for Health; 3rd Place for National Immunization Program; Top Performing Facilities in the Implementation of National Voluntary Blood Services Program and Adolescent Friendly Health Facility.
In addition, the Municipality of Pavia also emerged as a proud recipient of four (4) esteemed awards at the 22nd Blood Donors Awarding and Recognition Program led by the Philippine Red Cross last November 10, 2023, at the District 21 Hotel, Iloilo City.
Awards received were the following:
-BLOOD SERVICES PLATINUM AWARD
-2022 CHAIRMAN’S PLAQUE OF RECOGNITION
-CERTIFICATE OF MERITORIOUS SERVICE
-CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION – In achieving 1.06% of the total population for calendar year 2022 and for the unwavering support towards 100% voluntary non-remunerated blood donation.
6. DR. ARON ROY HISOLE AND THE MUNICIPAL AGRICULTURE OFFICE PERSONNEL
– The local government was awarded as Top Performing Municipality in the implementation of Rabies Prevention and Control Program for CY 2022. The award was given during the Health Summit held at Diversion 21 Hotel, Mandurriao, Iloilo.
7. MRS. CAROLINE T. TERUEL AND THE MUNICIPAL TREASURY OFFICE PERSONNEL AND MR. VENANCIO ANIMAS AND THE MUNICIPAL ASSESSOR’S OFFICE PERSONNEL
– The offices of the Municipal Treasury and Municipal Assessor had once again bagged major awards in the recently held Parangal given by the Bureau of Local Government Finance-Department of Finance, Region VI and the Association of Treasurers and Assessors for the top performing treasury and assessment offices in Western Visayas for Calendar Year 2022.
The award they received are as follows:
Rank 1 among all the 1st – 3rd class Municipalities in Region VI based on the HIGHEST LOCALLY SOURCED REVENUE IN REAL PROPERTY TAX (2022 Collection)
Top 2 among all the 1st – 3rd class Municipalities in Region VI based on the HIGHEST LOCALLY SOURCED REVENUE IN BUSINESS TAX & OTHER TAXES (2022 Collection)
Top 3 among all the 1st – 3rd class Municipalities in Region VI based on the HIGHEST LOCALLY SOURCED REVENUE IN FEES AND CHARGES (2022 Collection)
Top 3 among all the 1st – 3rd class Municipalities in Region VI based on the HIGHEST LOCALLY SOURCED REVENUE (2022 Collection)
Certificate of Commendation for having attained a collection efficiency rating of 137% exceeding the annual target set by Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) for fiscal year 2022, based on the COLLECTION EFFICIENCY IN FOUR LOCALLY SOURCED REVENUES (Real Property Tax, Business Tax & other Taxes, Fees & Charges, Economic Enterprise)
8. VICE MAYOR EDSEL G. GEROCHI, THE SB MEMBERS AND THE SB OFFICE PERSONNEL
– PROVINCIAL FINALIST, 2023 LOCAL LEGISLATIVE AWARD (1st to 3rd Class Municipalities Category).
The award was given during the 2023 Kapisan Awarding Ceremony at Sotogrande Hotel. Kapisan is a component of Pag-amlig Program. It is an integral part of the Iloilo Provincial Local Governance Resource Center (IPLGRC) in consonance with the direction of DILG Region VI Local Governance Research and Resource Center (LGRRC).
9. ENGR. RONILO A. GUILLEM AND THE MUNICIPAL ENGINEERING OFFICE PERSONNEL
– The Local Government Unit of Pavia proudly announces its recent achievement as CHAMPIONS at the DILG UPRISE Award 2023 held last December 11, 2023 at Diversion 21 Hotel, Iloilo City.
This recognition is a testament to the Municipality of Pavia’s exemplary implementation, monitoring and evaluation of FALGU (Financial Assistance to Local Government Units) projects for the year 2021.This award was conferred by the Department of Interior and Local Government for the local government’s remarkable contributions to community development and underscores the municipalities’ commitment to effective local governance.
Previously known as Project RISE, the rebranded “UPRISE: Upscaling Performance and Redefining Impact through Structural Empowerment” is an incentive initiative by the PDMU 6 designed to commend the outstanding performance of LGUs in terms of project implementation.
10. PMAJ DADJE B. DELIMA AND THE PAVIA MUNICIPAL POLICE STATION PERSONNEL AND MR. ALEXTO BARBA, FOCAL PERSON OF MUNICIPAL ANTI-DRUG ABUSE COUNCIL
– For garnering a perfect score in the Anti-Drug Council Functionality Audit and Awarding Assessment for 2023, the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council of Pavia received the 2023 National Anti-drug Abuse Council Performance Award. Mayor Luigi Gorriceta and MLGOO Ma’am Ma. Socorro Joy Garcia received the award during the National ADAC Performance Awards held in Manila on November 22, 2023.
11. MRS. LUZVIMINDA B. SANCHEZ AND THE MUNICIPAL SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE PERSONNEL
– In a remarkable achievement, the Local Government of Pavia has once again been honored with the Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance. The recognition, bestowed for its exemplary practices documented during the 2022 Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit.
Pavia being a child-friendly municipality for four (4) consecutive years, have been continuously implementing policies, programs, projects and activities that promote and protect children’s rights believing that every single child in our community must have a holistic and a wholesome opportunity for growth and development.
In addition, Ma’am Luz Sanchez and the MSWD Office have been instrumental for Mayor Luigi Gorriceta’s acknowledgement by the Association of Local Social Welfare & Development Officers of the Philippines, Inc., as the Most Outstanding Mayor of the Philippines in the field of Social Services.
12. MR. ROMMEL A. JAMERLAN AND MUNICIPAL DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT OFFICE PERSONNEL
– The ONLY Municipality in the Province of Iloilo that got the “BEYOND COMPLIANT” rating for the 23rd Gawad KALASAG.
The Gawad Kalasag Seal of Excellence is the result of the hardwork and sacrifices of the men and women of Pavia DRRMO, the commitment of its partners and different departments in the local government, the hands-on work of Barangay DRRM Committees, the unwavering support of Mayor Luigi Gorriceta, the local Sanggunian and the DRRM Champions.
