On December 4, 2024, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pavia, in coordination with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), held its annual “The Gift of Love” event at Robinsons Mall, Pavia. Over 900 persons with disabilities (PWDs) received gift packs from the local government.
This special event was made possible through the leadership of Mayor Luigi G. Gorriceta, whose dedication to uplifting the PWD community is truly inspiring. OIC MSWDO Jocelyn Lagamo and SB Rhia Sotomil delivered messages of support. SB Ariel “Paloy” Gerada and SB Roy Gorriceta also attended to show their support.
The initiative aimed to provide care and appreciation for PWDs, reflecting the community’s holiday spirit of giving and kindness.
