The Local Government of Pavia recognized its athletes’ achievements during a victory celebration held on November 28, 2025, at the Pavia National High School Gymnasium. The program highlighted Pavianhon athletes who delivered strong performances in major sporting events and contributed to Pavia’s overall championship in the 2nd CDSA II Meet 2025 in San Miguel, Iloilo.
Mayor Luigi G. Gorriceta acknowledged the athletes’ discipline and commitment, noting their role in securing the municipality’s top finish. Congresswoman Kathryn Joyce Gorriceta and former Congressman Michael B. Gorriceta also graced the event, joined by Sangguniang Bayan Members Jo Jan Paul Peñol, Rhia Sotomil, Ariel Gerada, and Kervin Matthew Zaldarriaga.
During the program, the LGU presented Medals of Excellence in Sports in recognition of the athletes’ accomplishments. Mayor Gorriceta likewise expressed appreciation to parents, coaches, trainers, teachers, volunteers, and members of the working committee for their support throughout the competition.
