The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pavia, led by the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO), conducted an orientation on the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) on September 18, 2025, at the Pavia Multi-Purpose Gymnasium.


The session was attended by the Technical Working Group, LGU officials, department heads, barangay officials, and community stakeholders from Pavia to enhance their understanding of Pavia’s development goals. MPDC, Mabel E. Paches stressed that the CLUP is a shared vision for sustainable and balanced progress, urging inclusive participation from all sectors.


Resource speakers, Ar. Franz Thomas P. Zaragoza, EnP. and Engr. Mary Julienne Joy Bongcac, EnP. discussed the overview of the CLUP’s 12-step process, objectives, and aligning local initiatives with broader frameworks.


Participants gained a thorough understanding of the CLUP’s goals, ensuring that local projects and initiatives contribute effectively to the development strategy. This initiative highlights the LGU’s dedication to community engagement and transparency, setting the stage for a more progressive and sustainable Pavia.
