The Local Government Unit of Pavia conducted a Consultative Meeting on June 3, 2026 at the Pavia Multipurpose Gymnasium regarding the proposed dry run and implementation of the new developmental transport route from Robinsons Pavia People’s Terminal to the Jibao-an, Pavia Boundary.
The meeting was attended by Punong Barangays and Kagawads from the affected barangays of Aganan, Balabag, Pandac, and Jibao-an, Presidents of affected Homeowners Associations, LETRANSCO Multipurpose Cooperative, Alliance for Peace and Sustainable Development Transport Cooperative, PIJODTC, PNP, LTFRB Region VI, PPSTMO, representatives from the Office of the Congressman of the Second District of Iloilo, and officials of the Municipality of Pavia.
Officials from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Region VI headed by Atty. Ma. Joscet Buyco-Abellar also joined the consultation together with representatives from the LTFRB Central Office through virtual participation.
The consultative meeting served as a venue for the discussion of the proposed developmental transport route, including the comments, recommendations, and concerns of stakeholders and affected sectors prior to the conduct of the proposed dry run and implementation.
Following the series of consultations scheduled within the month of June, the proposed dry run is expected to commence and will be implemented for six (6) months for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
The proposed route is expected to improve accessibility and transportation services for commuters and residents of Pavia.
