In celebration of Children’s Month held every year in November, LGU Pavia through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, held a Children’s Congress attended by Child Development Workers and their pupils.
During the program, Mayor Luigi Gorriceta also delivered his State of the Children’s Report. In his speech, the mayor highlighted the municipal government’s initiatives for the protection of children against child labor and others forms of abuse.
Pavia being a Child-Friendly Municipality for four (4) consecutive years, have been continuously implementing policies, program, projects and activities that promote and protect children’s rights believing that every single child in our community must have a holistic and a wholesome opportunity for growth and development.
