Pavia DRRMO led the CBDRRMP Coaching Session on July 16, 2025. It aimed to guide barangay officials in finalizing CBDRRM plan, and review risk assessment and priority hazards.
The process involved identifying Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPA’s) that the BDRRMC will address local hazards.
Punong Barangay Helen Maquiling presented the Proposed PPAs from the CBDRRM Plan of Barangay Balabag as example for the rest. Mr. Gorriceta of the Research and Planning Section highlighted the CBDRRMP of Purok 3 as example in data gathering of infrastructure available in the community resourced, employment status, sex and age segregated population data. Participants were reminded to cautiously provide correct and consistent data.
Mr. Rommel A. Jamerlan relayed the message of the Mayor Laurence Anthony Gorriceta of having a CBDRRM Plan that aligns with the Municipal DRRM Plan as basis of implementable DRRM programs, projects and activities at the barangay level.
The CBDRRMP Coaching Sessions was organized by the MDRRMO Research and Planning Sessions led by Mr. Benjo L. Gorriceta and Ms. Louryn Ann D. Jagolino.
