On February 14, 2025, the Local Government of Pavia once again hosted Gugma sa Pavia, a Mass Civil Wedding uniting 15 couples in a beautiful celebration of love and commitment at the Pavia Multi-Purpose Gymnasium.
Officiated by Mayor Luigi Gorriceta, the ceremony was a dream come true for couples from all walks of life, witnessed by their families and friends. With the dedicated efforts of the Local Civil Registry Office, led by Atty. Jenny Servidad, and the support of MSWDO personnel, the event was flawlessly organized.
Each newlywed couple received wedding gifts, cakes, wine, and pre-nuptial photos, along with a sumptuous feast sponsored by LGU Pavia. Distinguished guests, including Congressman Michael Gorriceta, Mr. Harris Angelo Ebojo of PSA Iloilo, Vice Mayor Bibo Gerochi, the Sangguniang Bayan Members, Mrs. Judy Hollero, Mrs. Daisy Hubero of the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs, and Mrs. Jocelyn Lagamo of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office graced the occasion, showing their support for the newlyweds.
