In the spirit of Christmas, Mayor Laurence Anthony Gorriceta turned over the Municipality’s financial assistance to the typhoon-hit Municipalities of Aglipay and Saguday, all of the Province of Quirino on Dec. 9, 2024.
Mayor Jerry Agsalda of Aglipay and Saguday’s Mayor Jerry Pagbilao received the donation in behalf of their LGUs. Both Local Chief Executives thanked Pavia for the unexpected aid as it will help them recover from the effects of Typhoons Nika, Ofel and Pepito. “Marami-maraming salamat po sa kay Mayor Luigi at sa buong Pavia po sa calamity donation. Malaking tulong po ito sa aming mabilis na pagbangon lalo na po sa aming agrikultura. Pagpalain po kayo ng marami”, added Ms. Xyla Junsay, LGU-Aglipay’s PESO in behalf of Mayor Agsalda.
The simple turn-over was held after the Seal of Local Governance (SGLG) awarding ceremony held at the Manila Hotel.
