The Local Government Unit of Pavia was conferred with Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) FY 2023, thus, making it eligible for an incentive fund.
Mayor Luigi Gorriceta personally received the SGLG Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) Check on January 09, 2024, at JR Hall, Diversion 21 Hotel, Iloilo City. The SGLGIF can be used by the Local Government Units for their development programs and initiatives.
The activity was also attended by Mrs, Mabel Paches (MPDO), Mrs. Caroline Teruel (Municipal Treasurer), Ms. Ma. Socorro Joy Garcia (MLGOO), Mrs. Richbe Hebrona (DILG Pavia Personnel) and Ms. Maria Fatima Daiz (DILG Cluster Head).
The Seal of Good Local Governance, also known as “Pagkilala sa Katapatan at Kahusayan ng Pamahalaang Lokal”, is awarded by the DILG annually to deserving provinces, cities, and municipalities that perform well in various fields. SGLG awards is an incentive, honor and recognition-based program which aims to boost the LGUs’ drive to constantly progress and/or sustain their notable performance across various governance areas.
