Barangay Ungka 1 formally inaugurated its newly completed multi-purpose center, covered gym, and child development center on February 16, 2026.
The facilities were opened following a blessing ceremony led by barangay officials headed by Liga ng mga Barangay President Ludovico Alfaro.
The project was implemented through the support of Cong. Jojo Ang of the USWAG Ilonggo Party-list, in coordination with the municipal government of Pavia.
Mayor Luigi G. Gorriceta attended the inauguration, along with party-list representative Tiffany Solis, Board Members Jan Paul J. Peñol and Amalia Debuque, and members of the Sangguniang Bayan.
Barangay officials said the multi-purpose center and covered gym will be used for community assemblies, sports activities, and civic programs, while the child development center will serve as a venue for early childhood education services.
They added that the project aims to improve access to basic facilities and strengthen service delivery for residents of Barangay Ungka 1.
