Barangay Tigum was evaluated during the Regional Onsite Validation for the 2025 Search for Outstanding Barangay Tanods, aiming for recognition as the region’s most outstanding barangay tanod unit.
The validation team conducted a series of assessments on the barangay tanods’ readiness and skills in emergency response, law enforcement, and community protection. The evaluators also reviewed their compliance with standard operating procedures and their attendance records in community patrols.
Punong Barangay Ferdinand “Dindo” Guillem, along with barangay officials, presented the support programs and initiatives implemented to strengthen peace and order in Tigum. These included capacity-building activities, coordination with local authorities, and community awareness campaigns.
The validation concluded with evaluators documenting their findings, which will be used in determining the regional awardees for 2025.
