Headed by Punong Barangay Nemia T. Lachica, together with her barangay officials, SK officials, Barangay Tanods, BHWs, residents, and visitors, the streets were filled with energy and uncontained excitement as Barangay Aganan successfully staged its first-ever Sadsad sa Aganan as part of the celebration of its Annual Patronal Fiesta.
The lively street dancing parade started at the Barangay Hall and made its way through Center Road, Road 9, Gorriceta Avenue, and Road 1 before returning to Center Road for the Merry Making. Adding vibrancy to the event was the dynamic drumbeat of Tribu Aeang-Aeang from Kalibo, Aklan, which energized the crowd and further heightened the festive spirit.
More than just a social gathering, the event highlighted the strong sense of unity, rich cultural heritage, and deep devotion of the Aganan community. The successful launch of Sadsad sa Aganan marked a significant milestone and is expected to become a cherished tradition in the barangay’s annual fiesta festivities.
