The Balabag Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Association in Barangay Balabag, Pavia, Iloilo, received a ₱400,000.00 grant from the Field Social Welfare and Development (FSWD) Office under the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Pavia, for the implementation of its Piso WiFi and GCash Services Project.




Composed of 20 beneficiaries, the association will operate Piso WiFi machines and provide GCash transaction services to residents as part of its income-generating initiative.




The project is expected to improve internet accessibility and promote digital financial services within the barangay.



Meanwhile, the funding, sourced from the 2025 General Appropriations Act (GAA) under the Sustainable Livelihood Program, supports MSWDO’s ongoing efforts to strengthen community-based enterprises and enhance local economic opportunities.
