With hearts united in prayer and thanksgiving, a significant number of faithful gathered today at Sta. Monica Parish Church for the Thanksgiving Mass of Rev. Fr. Jan Philip M. Gumban, a proud Pavianhon who received the Sacrament of Holy Orders last on June 15, 2026, at the Jaro Metropolitan Cathedral.
His priestly ordination marks a grace-filled milestone not only in his personal journey of faith but also in the life of the entire Pavianhon community. Raised by a family, parish, and town that nurtured his vocation, Fr. Jan Philip now begins a life dedicated to serving God and His people.
May his witness remind us that great callings can spring from humble beginnings, and may his journey inspire more Pavianhons to pursue lives of faith, purpose, and service.
