The Municipality of Pavia marked the 127th Philippine Independence Day with a flag-raising ceremony held on the morning of June 12, 2025, in front of the Pavia Municipal Building.
The event was organized by the Tourism and Development Office and Human Resource Management Office in coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the 18 barangays of the municipality. It carried the national theme, “Kalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan.”
Mayor Luigi G. Gorriceta led the ceremony, joined by LGU officials and employees. The program included an intermission performance by the Jaz Querdars and the awarding of winners from the LGU Employees Freedom Fun Run.
