For the fourth time, Pavia has earned the prestigious Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG), marking its third consecutive award under the leadership of Mayor Laurence Anthony G. Gorriceta. The accolade highlights Pavia’s exemplary governance across ten essential areas, showcasing the municipality’s commitment to sustainable and effective administration.
The municipality has excelled in each of the ten governance areas: Financial Administration and Sustainability (FA), Disaster Preparedness (DP), Social Protection and Sensitivity (SPS), Health Compliance and Responsiveness (HCR), Sustainable Education (SE), Business-Friendliness and Competitiveness (BCF), Safety, Peace, and Order (SPO), Environmental Management (EM), Tourism, Heritage Development, Culture, and Arts (THDCA), and Youth Development (YD).
