The Municipality of Pavia proudly celebrates a significant achievement as the Municipal Population Office was recognized as the 2025 Outstanding Population Office in the Localization of the Philippine Population and Development Plan of Action (PPD-POA) 2023–2028 in Western Visayas.
The award was conferred by the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) Region VI during a recognition ceremony held on March 13, 2026, in Goldberry Lite Hotel, Iloilo City.
Ms. Lalaine Kay Decado, Population Program Officer I, together with Vice Mayor Edsel “Bibo” G. Gerochi, received the award on behalf of the Municipality of Pavia, Iloilo. The recognition highlights the municipality’s exemplary efforts in implementing population and development programs that promote sustainable and inclusive community development.
Ms. Decado was also commended for her invaluable service, dedication, and commitment in advancing population and development initiatives in the municipality.
