The Municipality of Pavia, Iloilo, under the leadership of Hon. Laurence Anthony G. Gorriceta, has been recognized for its exemplary performance in various financial and administrative categories for the calendar year 2023. The accolades were awarded during the Best Performing Municipalities in Treasury Services Awarding Ceremony held on December 2, 2024, at Zuri Hotel and Suites, Iloilo City.
Pavia received the following honors:
• Most Outstanding Municipality in the Collection of Professional Tax.
• 3rd Most Outstanding Municipality in the Collection of Annual Fixed Tax for Delivery Trucks and Vans.
• 4th Highest Realty Tax Collection efficiency (Category A) in the province.
• 14th Most Outstanding Municipality in the early submission of eSRE Reports in the entire Province of Iloilo.
The Municipal Treasury Office of Pavia, led by Ms. Caroline T. Teruel, played a pivotal role in these accomplishments. Their dedication and hard work enabled Pavia to excel in several areas.
Additionally, Mr. Luisito G. Selorio was commended as the 14th top-performing Electronic Statement of Receipts and Expenditures (e-SRE) focal person in the province. Hon. Ariel B. Gerada, as Chairman of the Committee on Revenue, also contributed significantly to these achievements.
These achievements underscore LGU Pavia’s commitment to excellence and its ongoing efforts to enhance financial management and administrative efficiency.
