The Department of Interior and Local Government recently released its Official List of 2022 Good Financial Housekeeping Passers. The Local Government of Pavia under the administration of Mayor Luigi Gorriceta is one of the awardees in Region VI.
The Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping (SGFH) recognizes compliance of Local Government Units (LGUs) with accounting and auditing standards, rules and regulations, as certified by DILG’s Bureau of Local Government Supervision. SGFH affirms that an LGU had spent and audited its public funds completely and with full transparency.
Under the most coveted Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG), the Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping is part of the Financial Administration and Sustainability aspect—the first of six areas in assessment for LGUs.
