GENERAL FEATURES
Considered to be one of the smallest and least earning barangay in the town of Pavia, Purok III started to be a barangay on 1968 under the leadership of Punong Barangay Loreto Gerochi.
Together, the people have formed a very good bond and considered themselves as one, despite being the smallest and least earning barangay. Purok III managed to have a systematic government which is being uphold by the people until now.
The total land area is 6.5 hectares composed of five zones. It is located at the southeast of poblacion town proper.
The topography of Purok III is totally flat plain near Tigum river, Its soil is composed of clay and sand. Its dominant land uses is almost residential.
Backyard livestocks and poultry raising are some source of income. Business establishments located in the barangay are bank, lumber and hardwarem water station, pharmacy, eateries, sari-sari stores and computer stations.
Peace and order are maintained by the barangay officials in coordination with the Pavia PNP.
The barangay consists of road networks which are a combination of national, provincial, municipal and barangay roads, with one component bridge, the Tigum Bridge.
